Set of 24 warm-white LEDs, 3 mm in diameter—small enough to fit inside the deckhouses, skylights and portholes of a 1/140 model..
- Flicker-free: steady light, not the flashing of a string of lights.
- Resistor built into each LED: no calculations required, no additional components needed. Simply connect the LED to the battery holder and it will light up—no knowledge of electronics is required.
- Bare pins, for soldering: connections are made using a soldering iron. Solder is included; the soldering iron is not included.
- Designed for the “Juan Sebastián de Elcano” model (KBAL22521), whose cabins and portholes allow light to pass through.
Lighting Kit Contents
- 24 3-mm warm-white LEDs with built-in resistors. The light sources. Warm light, like that found on board, and a 3-mm head that fits where a 5-mm LED would not.
- 1 2 × AAA battery holder with switch. The main power source: allows you to turn the lights on and off without having to disassemble anything.
- 1 CR2032 button-cell battery holder. The compact power source, for tight spaces.
- 10 m red cable. The positive terminal. Long enough to run along bulkheads, around frames, and up the masts.
- 10 m black cable. The negative terminal. Two colors to ensure you never reverse the polarity inside the hull.
- 1 m of tin-coated wire. For soldering each connection. Supplied coiled inside the tube with a blue cap.
- 700 mm Heat-shrink tubing. Insulates, protects, and conceals each solder joint. Learn how to use it.
