The 5 V, 1A BEC function provides thermal and short-circuit protection.
Undervoltage detection
At start-up, the ESC detects whether a 2S ( 7.4 v) or 3S (11.1 v) Lipo battery is connected.
This sets the voltage limit to either 6 volts or 9 volts.
If the battery voltage falls below this limit, then motor speed is limited to only ¼ of maximum speed.

Note for BEC system (reception power supply):

(With a 6v power supply, BEC voltage is reduced)
When using several servos, the power of the BEC system may be exceeded, causing reception interruptions. In this case, deactivate the BEC by disconnecting the red wire from the cable linking the ESC to the receiver, then power the receiver with a dedicated "Ubec" module.
