The Servonaut S22 ESC is the replacement for the well-known Servonaut S20 ESC.

The S22 ESC has been specially developed by Servonaut for use in RC Trucks and similar models, in scales from 1/16th to 1/8th.

List of improvements:

• Automatic detection of battery voltage for automatic adaptation of the discharge cut-off, to avoid over-discharging the Nimh or Lipo battery.
• Improved progressiveness
• Even more realistic simulation of heavy vehicle inertia

Description:

Smooth, progressive acceleration and powerful electromagnetic braking contribute to easy model control and transmission protection.
The ESC operates in classic forward and reverse mode. The high frequency ensures very quiet operation. An output for the brake lights and another for the reversing lights are available. The brake lights come on when the vehicle is slowing down, not just when it is stopped.
The integrated safety features are:
- Protection against overheating
- Protection against current peaks
- Detection of low voltage
- Detection of signal loss

These protections cause the model to brake and stop to avoid any incident.
The S22 also features a high-power 3A radio power supply ("BEC" system).
