The FlySky FS-ST8 transmitter is a 2.4GHz 12-channel programmable radio controller suitable for all kinds of modelling (trucks, construction equipment, tanks, boats, drones, planes, cars, robots, etc.).

This versatile radio controller is easy to handle, with a good range and precision ideal for beginners or advanced hobbyists. Menu navigation is facilitated by a thumbwheel and 2 buttons.

Programming allows custom assignment of switches and potentiometers to the desired outputs. Native features include 2 rotary potentiometers, 3x 2-position switches and 1x 3-position switch. It can be extended to 8 proportional inputs by adding 2 potentiometers with return to neutral on the top edge of the box, controlled by the indexes. The back of the box can also be used to add 2 additional pulse switches.

FlySky allows users to freely customize their device, with provision for additional inputs to be added at a later date. There's also space for an external antenna for a stronger signal.

ANT (Automatic Frequency Hopping) communication protocol provides a stable, long-range link (>1 km in ideal conditions).

Power is supplied by 4 AA/LR6 batteries or a 2S LiPo battery fitted with a JST/BEC connector (4 x 1300mAh AA/LR6 NiMh batteries provide autonomy of over 10 hours).
The USB Type-C port can also be used to power the transmitter for simulator use.

The radio control comes as standard in mode 2 (notched stick left), but can easily be converted to mode 1 (notched stick right). A conversion kit for automatic return to neutral of the notched stick is also available as an option (see "accessories" below).
