Owing to their high reactivities, even small quantities permit a processing time of five minutes only.

The components are dosed in the ratio 1:1 by eye, whereby equal volumes of resin and hardener are placed on a suitable surface (film, paper). The constituents are then mixed immediately with a stirring rod. The constituents, clear to start with, take on a slightly milky colour. This mixture must be applied without delay. After five minutes at the latest, the adhesive starts to gel and after a further ten minutes loads can be applied to the bond.The compound can also be used to fill gaps, but in general the thinner the glued bond, the higher the lap shear strength.The adhesive system can be inspissated with fillers such as thixotropy-enhancing agents, cotton flock, milled glass fibres, glass bubbles, etc. (e.g. for repairs and filling gaps).
