Today, the lines of acrylic paints (X/XF) and spray lacquers (TS/AS) are complemented by this new line of lacquered paints packaged in pots. You can use them to cover large areas with an airbrush or transplant small details with a brush. They form a very resistant film and dry quickly, but with a slow initial drying ensuring optimal tension and an impeccable finish. These new lacquered paintings will become essential to your panoply of accomplished model makers.

INTENSE COLORS AND GLOSS

The shimmering tones and bright gloss obtained by spraying the paint lacquered Tamiya airbrush will work wonders on models of cars, motorcycles and trucks, and their very resistant film will support the treatment with polishing compounds. Shades previously available in bombs: Pearl Blue, Mica Red, Pure Orange and others, are now packaged in pots, which avoids extracting them from the aerosol and letting them decant if you want to apply them to the airbrush.

AIRBRUSH, MY FRIEND...

Saturated tones of lacquered paints Tamiya are perfectly suitable for covering large areas with an airbrush. Mix 1 part of paint with 1 to 2 parts of the dedicated thinner, and make two or three passes on the area to be covered. You can then transplant the details with a brush with other Tamiya or enamels. The hard membrane formed after drying does not react and resists the application of enamels.

Lacquered paints Tamiya dry quickly; most shades are ready to touch after an hour and can be hidden from the cache strip 24 hours later, saving time in making your models.
