The Torben is the semi-model of a harbour tugboat used mainly for the manoeuvring of large ships in ports. The model is equipped with a kort nozzle propeller and a functional hook.
The hull is made in a shock-resistant and thermoformed plastic. The superstructure elements, the bastinguage, the Kort nozzle, the ladders, the dinghy, are also made of thermoformed plastic. The deck and windows are also pre-cut.
The very large hull volume allows the easy installation of the radio control system including ancillary functions on personal initiative.
The box includes the hull, deck and other impact-resistant thermoformed plastic structural parts. The propulsion consists of the propeller shaft, stern tube and brass propeller as well as many small parts.
The fitting set(supplied separately)includes:
Bastinguage and handrails, mooring bits, bar with functional compass, portholes, towing hook, (functional) spotlights, lifelines, anchor, windlass, etc ...
