Gelcoat de Finition Blanc sans styrène is a cobalt-accelerated polyester gelcoat with excellent processing properties for manual application. Gelcoat de Finition Blanc sans styrène hardens with the addition of CHP hardener to form a tack-free surface.
Application:
Using a brush or skin roller, apply Styrene-Free White Finishing Gelcoat evenly to the tacky or sanded laminate. Smooth with a Gelcoat brush immediately after application with a skin roller.
Make sure that the minimum thickness of the coat is not less than 1 mm; this also applies to edges, as this would result in incomplete curing. Consumption is approx. 200 g/m². Only one coat should be applied, as a kerosene film forms on the surface. Hardening is achieved by adding 3% CHP hardener.
Example of dosage: 100 g topcoat + 3 g CHP hardener
For this dosage, pot life is approx. 20 minutes at 20°C.
The ideal application temperature is between 18°C and 25°C.
Apply the product away from direct sunlight.
Depending on application conditions, drying can be achieved after 24 hours.
Full chemical resistance is achieved after 5 days.
ATTENTION: Scrupulously observe the following instructions:
- Homogenize the resin well before adding the hardener
- Dose the hardener precisely
- Observe the temperatures indicated for use
