The SMU sound module is programmed with the recordings of a real Unimog and reproduces them in high quality according to the driving situation.
 

For even more realism on your model, this module provides :

• Engine speed noise variation based on the real vehicle
• Engine sound start/stop
• 2 Horn tones (selection and volume adjustable via CARD)
• Gear change sound (sound volume adjustable via CARD)
• Handbrake engagement sound
• Reversing beep (activation, definition of vehicle's direction of travel and sound volume adjustable via CARD)
• Turbocharger noise (activation and volume adjustable via CARD). Can be completely disabled
• Martin siren (German emergency vehicle) (adjustable via CARD)

• Speed measurement at ESC Servonaut or directly at the receiver via a Y-cord if using a standard ESC
• Power supply: 7.2V to 12V NiMh or Lipo
• Power: 3W at 7.2V into 8 Ohms, 2W at 12V into 16 Ohms

• No additional battery required, can be powered directly from the drive battery
• Engine start and horn can be activated via a normal receiver channel

Hardware required separately (not included):

• 8 Ohm loudspeaker required for 7.2V power supply (see loudspeaker section)
• 16 Ohm loudspeaker required for 12V power supply (see loudspeaker section)
• Y-cord with JR/Graupner type plugs if SM3 sound module is used with a ESC other than the SM3 sound module Servonaut
   

Some functions may require a remote control with a mixer (gearshift noise).
