The "Felix" is a faithful reproduction of a Hamburg harbor launch. Used partly as a workboat, partly as a transport vessel and partly as a tourist boat, almost everyone is familiar with these pretty little boats, which are a must in any harbor.

Felix was built to original designs by a Hamburg shipyard. The aim was to develop a kit that combines the model aspect with the simplest possible construction. The result is a construction kit for beginners that has lost none of its fidelity to the original. The kit is therefore also an interesting piece for experienced model builders, not least because of its much-appreciated 1:25 scale, which still leaves scope for many fine details.

The hull is thermoformed in high-grade ABS plastic, with a molded keel to ensure trouble-free installation of the stern tube and rudder. Likewise, a moulding for the bottom plate and waterline are already marked on the hull, so that beginners have no construction difficulties.
All deck and superstructure parts are laser-cut with care and precision, and the simple interlocking system makes assembly extremely easy. What's more, different motor mounts are supplied for different drive variants, so that the motor and its mount can be easily dismantled at a later date. An electric motor with articulated coupling is already included as standard in the kit, as are the stern tube and rudder.

All the fittings shown are prefabricated in wood or plastic in the construction kit. The detailed assembly instructions and construction plan are specially designed for beginners
