Artesanía Latina exclusively presents this new model of the French racing cutter and sailing ship Pen Duick. Discover this 1:28 scale wooden model ship kit for intermediate model builders. It includes all the parts you need to build this model of the favourite yacht of one of the myths in the history of yacht racing, Éric Tabarly. An exclusive product from Artesanía Latina for which an official licence has been granted.
One of the world's most elegant sailboats. Its false keel and frame construction system brings the model's assembly closer to the actual construction of the boat.
The Pen Duick model is completely redesigned and reproduces the ship in every detail. The deck is finely laser-engraved, giving it a superb finish and a highly realistic appearance. It contains all the parts needed by the modeller to build the model: wooden, brass and cast iron parts, as well as photo-etched brass parts. American oak veneer for the roofs. Hand-sewn cotton sails, detailed and ready to fit.
For assembly, you can follow the comprehensive, easy-to-follow step-by-step video guide, which you can watch on Artesania Latina's Youtube channel (see below). You can also scan the QR code on the box and on the parts list. It'll be like a masterclass from a professional model makers. The kit contains no printed instructions. Two paper plans and the parts list are printed.
Once built, the model measures 550 mm long, 765 mm high and 94 mm wide. It can be placed on the wooden base with nameplate included in the kit. Paint your model with the paints in the box reference FPAL277PACK32, sold separately (see "accessories" on this page).
