Tramway "Lacroze" no. 258 was manufactured by the Porto Tramway Company in Portugal in 1927, based on the "Brill 32" model by J.G. Brill of Philadelphia (USA).
It was in service with Compagnie Lacroze in Buenos Aires between 1907 and 1939.
In 1980, the 258 was acquired by the Association of Friends of the Buenos Aires Tramway (AAT). The AAT restored this magnificent vehicle, making a few exterior modifications, and finally obtained an exact replica of the Buenos Aires Lacroze. Since November 15, 1980, it has been running in the Caballito district of Buenos Aires.
In 2014, the "Lacroze" no. 258 was declared a national historic monument.
