This 1/14 scale 40-foot dry van semi-trailer is a faithful reproduction of those seen on U.S. highways. This model is the successor to reference 56302, the iconic “Intercontinental Express”, which was on sale from 1993 to 2022.

The new semi-trailer features redesigned, more realistic aluminium side panels and can be coupled to any 1/14 scale Tamiya tractor unit.

• The chassis and parts are based on the first version released under reference number 56302, the iconic “Intercontinental Express”
• The newly designed side panels offer a more realistic appearance thanks to their authentic wave pattern
• The plastic parts are now moulded in black, and the aluminium profiles running along the top and bottom of the body are also black anodised
• Includes a sheet of decals for US-style livery, as well as other small details
• Like the body, many parts of the chassis are made of aluminium, including the frame rails, which are black anodised too
• The chassis is equipped with a leaf spring suspension system
• The support legs operate semi-automatically; they retract automatically when the trailer is coupled to the truck but require manual operation to lower them when uncoupling
• The body doors open and close via a locking mechanism
• Suitable for all Tamiya 1/14 scale road tractor trucks
