MAQUETT plastic profiles are suitable for use in all areas of model making. These products have been developed to meet the requirements of model makers and architects. The Super Styrene profiles are made from ASA plastic (acrylonitrile-styrene-acrylic ester), similar to ABS plastic. This makes ASA plastic profiles particularly impact-resistant yet very elastic. They are particularly easy to work with. The profiles do not splinter or break when cut to size. They are antistatic and resistant to water, oil, petrol and UV rays (no fading due to sunlight). For better distinguishability, MAQUETT profiles are colour-coded on one side at the front.
ASA profiles can be painted without any problems. Enamel or synthetic resin paint, for example from Humbrol or Revell, is particularly suitable for this purpose. We recommend UHU allplast item no. 48410 as an adhesive or, for maximum strength, Plastic Magic item no. 44045 from DELUXE.
