MAQUETT plastic profiles are suitable for all areas of model making. These products have been developed to meet the requirements of model builders and architects. Super-Styrene profiles are made from ASA plastic (acrylonitrile-styrene-acrylate), similar to ABS plastic. For this reason, ASA plastic profiles are particularly impact-resistant, while remaining highly elastic. They are particularly easy to work with. When cut, the profiles do not split or break. They are antistatic and resistant to water, oil, petrol and UV rays (no discoloration in sunlight). For easy identification, MAQUETT profiles are marked with a color on one side at the end.

ASA profiles can be painted without problem. Enamel or synthetic resin paints, e.g. from Humbrol or Revell, are particularly suitable for this purpose. As glue, we recommend UHU allplast ref. 48410 or, for maximum resistance, Plastic Magic ref. 44045 from DELUXE.
