soloplast's Yachtcare product range is specially designed for boat maintenance and repair. The use of these products is also adapted to the realization of our models when high quality and high strength are sought.

Single-component finish varnish High Gloss

High resistance to UV and extreme weather conditions
On interior and exterior wood surfaces YC VARNISH MARIN is a traditional high-gloss varnish intended to all wood supports located above the waterline, both for interior and exterior surfaces. This varnish is durably elastic, weather resistant, UV stable and provides durable protection against marine elements. It provides a long gloss and protects the wood from bleaching and yellowing. It dries quickly and thus allows to proceed quickly to the following applications.

Preparing support:

The support must be perfectly clean, dry and free of any greasy substance. The previous layers must be intact and adhere well to the support. If necessary sand them and perfectly remove dust and residues.
Application temperature: can be applied in dry weather and temperatures between 10 and 30°C.

Application:

With a brush or foam roller. For a raw wood support, dilute the first two layers with 10 to 20% YachCare LACUNA AND VARNISH DILUENT (see "accessories" on this page). The next 2-3 layers will be applied without diluent. On a wood support already painted pass 1-2 new layers, if necessary diluted with 5% maxi of YachtCare THINNER LACQUE AND VARNISH to improve the tension.
