Glossy Varnish

Use

A solvent-based varnish that dries transparently, overcoming the yellowing effect associated with traditional varnishes. The product dries to give a smooth and glossy finish.

Substrate

Common plastics used in the manufacture of models including polystyrene and ABS, as well as MDF. Satin dimension is usually applied as a final layer on a fully painted and decalated model.

Blanket

Depends on the application and thickness of the layers.

Application

Brush or airbrush. Dilute appropriately when airbrushing with Humbrol enamel thinners

Drying time

Dry surface in 1 hour. Completely dry after 24 hours. Drying times vary depending on room temperature and humidity. Recoat after 24 hours.

How to clean

Brush: use Humbrol thinners for Enamel AC7501

Airbrush: rinse thoroughly with Humbrol diluents for Enamel AC7501.
