The Pirat was designed in 1938 by boat manufacturer Carl Martens. With this construction, he won an award from the magazine "Yacht". For many years, the Pirat was the wooden sailboat built in greater quantities in Germany.

The model was reproduced exactly on a 1:10 scale, with original drawings and photos. Many details have been achieved thanks to the modern laser cutting technique. Only a few simplifications have been made on the model, so that the look of this magnificent wooden boat is fully preserved.

The kit contains all the pieces of wood cut with precision with laser. Wooden parts can be colored to the desired wood color before assembly. A special plywood frame construction allows the simple construction of the structure. The fittings are made of brass.
The mast and boom are composed of several pieces of shaped wood. The sails have already been laser cut.


The construction plan and construction instructions with many detailed sketches are also included in the kit, in French, English and German.
