SOCLAINE

The real boat:

Bisquines are fishing sailboats that originated on the French coast of the English Channel and were rigged as "bisquines". The name is thought to come from "Biscaya" (Vizcaya, in the Basque Country), a Spanish maritime province [unclear] that built strong fishing boats. Their imposing sails made them powerful boats that, with a crew of five to seven men, went trawling and dredging for oysters, particularly in the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel. They reached their peak around 1900.
