Bismarck Battleship 1/200 kit by AMATI
AMATI ref 1614
The Bismarck is probably the best-known battleship in the German navy. At the time of her commissioning in 1940, she was considered the world's largest and most powerful battleship. Together with her sister ship Tirpitz, they formed the so-called Bismarck class.
The Amati Bismarck model has already been in production for many years, for a publisher's subscription. Today, Amati has again succeeded in considerably improving the construction with even finer details. This model can probably no longer be surpassed in terms of richness of detail.
The model's basic structure features a large number of laser-cut wooden parts. For the many details, countless engraved metal part plates with 2266 parts and many more castings are used.
A huge, full-coloured illustrated building instruction shows every step of the building, leaving no detail undescribed (see "Download" on this page).
Thanks to hull's generous space and removable superstructures, it's very easy to turn it into an RC model if you wish.
For experienced modellers.
