The Pilot is freely inspired by a modern pilot boat of 20m. Boats of this kind are frequently encountered along the coasts of the Baltic sea and the North sea; they are very manœuvrable and fast, typically capable of 25 to 30 knots.
Their task is to provide a reliable means of transport, in all weathers, for the pilots of the giants of the seas. The space behind the cockpit can accommodate several pilots, so in a single tour, it is possible to bring them all to their workstation. Our model incorporates most of the characteristics and behavior of these boats.

The model is based on a modern gliding hull, it is very fast and maneuvering. The boat is powered by two electric motors and steered by means of a double rudder system. The hull is constructed of plastic elements cut in numerical control, to assemble and glue.
The boat has a fully equipped cockpit. A complete set of accessories is provided for the wheelhouse. The cut-out parts of the dashboard make it possible to light many instruments. All the lamps in the model can accommodate 3mm LEDs. The two very powerful bow headlamps and the black rubber liston give the model a unique look.
The main spotlight is assembled from engraved parts and is fully articulated. The LED and reflector are adjusted carefully and it produces an extremely powerful and concentrated beam.
Other functional systems can be added to the model according to the wishes of the modeller. There is more than enough room in the hull for auxiliary systems such as bow thrusters, a lighting system, a noisemaker.
