The German manufacturer Krick, under its new "RoMarin by Krick" brand, is relaunching production of the ROBBE radio-controlled boats which have been a great success with several generations of model builders.

The model

Assembly kit of a Dutch ocean-going tugboat in 1/50 scale.
This radio-controlled boat kit includes an ABS hull and laser-cut structural parts. The kit includes the hull, deck, superstructure, smokestacks, masts, crane and rudders.

The model's drive system (not included in the kit) is designed to be direct, i.e. without gear reduction, via two MAX Power 700 series high-torque, low-speed electric motors on two high-efficiency propellers. The nozzles serve to increase thrust, so that even the most difficult towing and pushing maneuvers can be performed in conjunction with the optional bow thruster. Numerous special functions can be installed in the spacious plastic hull. Builders of this model will be able to equip the Happy Hunter with functional lighting, radar, windlass, sound module and towing system. The crane can also be made fully functional.
