Description

With the Pirate Shooter II, T2M has upgraded its 1/10 XL off-road buggy where it matters most for beginners. The main new feature is in the driver’s hands: the 2.4 GHz transmitter has a speed limiter adjustable to 50, 75 or 100%. Start slowly to find your bearings, then gradually unlock the buggy’s full power – a real advantage for a first RC car or a supervised young driver.

Steering is also more precise thanks to a dual-bearing steering servo. The buggy comes complete with a 7.2 V 1800 mAh Ni-MH battery with Deans plug and a USB charger: add a few AA batteries to the transmitter and you’re ready to drive.

Everything else is the proven Shooter platform: ball-bearing 4WD drivetrain, two bevel-gear differentials, 550-size motor and waterproof ESC compatible with 2S Li-Po or 5–9 cell Ni-MH packs, for a top speed of around 45 km/h. Big-bore oil-filled shocks, independent suspension and Hi-Grip Mini-Block tyres soak up rough ground, while plenty of adjustments (wheelbase, shocks, toe, camber, wing) let you learn how to fine-tune your car.
