The real ship:

The HE 4 is one of the most modern boats of the Hessian Water Protection Police. It is a type WSP 4 and was built in 2005 at the SET Genthin shipyard, and put into service in 2006. It bears serial number 158. The boat is made of welded aluminum. Its equipment includes various communication and radar systems. To detect hazardous areas (gases and vapors), the boat is fitted with gas gauge probes located at the bow and stern of the mast.

Features of the live model: The mast can be lowered to a horizontal position. An external control platform is located on the roof, accessible via a ladder. At the rear, there's a rescue platform with a folding ladder. The crane, mounted on the edge of the deck, can be slewed manually. The cable is driven by a hydraulic motor. The crane can be swung inwards. The bollards and anchor are made of aluminum. Thanks to the support of the Hessian Police, a high level of detail has been achieved in the reproduction of this model.

In particular, certain functions could be made functional (mast and ladder tilting, radar rotation, crane operation, lighting, etc.)

This model is aimed at an experienced modeller.
