Tamiya offers a new version of its latest RC truck, the Scania 770 S V8, this time in the form of an impressive heavy-duty tractor for exceptional convoys, in 8x4/4 configuration.
Part of the Swedish manufacturer's brand-new Next Gen range, this Scania 770 S V8 8x4/4, powered by a turbocharged V8 engine developing 770 hp, is designed to pull heavy loads on semi-trailers. This RC model, to be assembled and painted, faithfully reproduces the original in every detail, incorporating 2 steerable front axles, one of which can be raised manually.
The kit includes a realistic 4-axle chassis with leaf spring suspension, 3-speed gearbox and a faithfully detailed cab, with a cooling tower on the back featuring various auxiliary tanks, chambers, compressed air tanks and 4 headlamps that can be illuminated. Chassis components (tanks, exhausts, platform, etc.) are also faithfully reproduced, as are the majority of body details, bringing remarkable realism to the model, such as mirrors, running boards, logos, grille, headlights, etc. ...
Like other Tamiya rc trucks, it can be fitted with the optional MFC-03 module ref: PCTA56523, which enables the operation of lighting and sound, and incorporates a vibrator to simulate engine vibrations, as well as an Electronic Speed Controller (ESC). Alternatively, it can be fitted with an electronic unit from Servonaut.
