PistenKing TRU-LKB-TAM
This system, fitted with an infrared kingpin, includes a potentiometer for measuring the steering angle between the towing vehicle and the attached trailer. With the appropriate electronics, such as our Automatic trailer steering axle control card (see "accessories" on this page), it enables steering axles on the trailer.
The system is designed to be mounted on the Goldhofer low-loader trailer from Carson. Of course, it can also be used for private construction.
In order to install this kingpin on the model, the original mounting hole has to be enlarged. Otherwise, no further adaptation is required on the trailer. Plug-in connection cables are designed for use with the PistenKing IRAM trailer control module with additional functions. Adapter cables are supplied for connection to our ELTM00001 control board. These adapter cables also allow connection to the ServoNaut AM6 module.
