Servonaut AM6 infrared receiver with directional axle(s) management

AM6 infrared receiver Servonaut with directional axle(s) management

Manufactured by Servonaut

Infrared receiver for wireless remote control of a trailer in conjunction with AIR4, AIRU, LA6 and LA10 transmitters from Servonaut. Includes electronics for steering axle(s) and direct infrared re-emission for multi-trailer combinations (road-train) or multi-part trailers such as semi-trailer with detachable gooseneck.

The AM6 module can be used universally to transmit connection and servo signals wirelessly via an infrared signal. Especially in truck modeling, it enables lights on trailers and semi-trailers to be controlled in line with real vehicles.

The AM6 module can be used with the various infrared transmitters models from Servonaut AIR4, AIRU, LA6 and LA10. For use with the MFC-01 and MFC-03 from Tamiya, the AIR-U transmitter must be used.

The trailer must be fitted with its own battery, and optionally with a work pin suitable for infrared installation (see "accessories" tab below).

Caution: LED installation requires the use of resistors!

Road-Train" or multi-part trailer configuration:

The built-in infrared transmitter allows all signals to be transmitted to another module, for example in a road-train configuration or as a primary module at the front of a semi-trailer with detachable gooseneck. If a potentiometer is connected to the AM6, its value is transmitted via infrared to subsequent modules.

Features :

• Universal trailer electronics with 6 switching outputs and integrated infrared receiver
• Suitable for all Servonaut modules with infrared transmitter, e.g. LA10, LA6, AIR4, AIRU
• Simple connection: all switching functions are connected via screw terminals
• Lighting functions with the usual incandescent bulb simulation at Servonaut
• Position, brake and reversing lights
• Left/right turn signals and hazard warning lights
• Additional output (e.g. for rear fog lights or rotating beacon)
• Depending on the transmitter module used, 1 to 2 proportional servo outputs
• Integrated infrared transmitter module for use in road-train configuration
• Potentiometer input for recording steering angle, e.g. via Pistenking system

Technical specifications :

• 6 short-circuit and overload-resistant 700mA outputs, suitable for bulbs, lighting boards and LEDs fitted with resistors (e.g. Servonaut LEDSET)
• Power supply: 7.2V to 14.4V (NiMh or LiPo / Li-Ion)
• Servo power supply: SBEC 5V/3A
• Dimensions: approx. 55x25x13mm
• IR-SET with transmitter diode and patch cord available as accessories (for road-train function)

Scope of delivery:

• 1 AM6 receiver module
