FLB-12 1/20 scale radio-controlled fire boat kit

The FLB-12 is a fire-boat as used on German inland waters. It has been modelled on the original boats and impresses with its high level of detail. The model is powered by a 28 mm brushless outrunner motor.

The boat can be fitted out in a fully functional way. All lamp bodies can be fitted with LEDs, and the wires disappear completely in the mast and boom, and are connected centrally at hull. The kit already includes a set of lights for navigation lights, spotlight and rotating beacon. The lighting can be extended using the ACAE567751 LED kit, available as a recommended accessory.

The two water cannons are operated using the optional MOAE700390 water pump and are included in the kit, as are the necessary fittings and connectors for the hoses. The structure of hull already provides for the installation of the water pump, and the detailed assembly instructions show exactly how to install and connect it.

A comprehensive range of fittings is available, including numerous lights, lifebuoys, anchors, windlasses, functional lights such as spotlights, flashing beacons and navigation lights, antennas, motorized radar, two water cannons with hose adapters, horns, loudspeakers, many high-quality 3D-printed parts, steps, railings, cockpit fittings, bollards, cleats, lighting mast with working spotlight and much more. The fittings are included in the kit and do not need to be ordered separately.

The superstructure is fully removable, providing good access to hull and RC components. The cockpit roof is also removable.
