Multi-task boat: work or research.
The ALEX is a semi-model of a modern 14m multipurpose boat.
The model is based on a modern hull, gliding hull, and therefore is very fast and manoeuvrant. The hull is to be built, based on laser-cut plastic plates. All ABS parts are supplied laser cut and can be assembled and glued immediately.
The hull is assembled on a construction base in Dépron (included in the box). The engine is composed of two electric motors (not included) that can be controlled individually or jointly. Two rudders provide direction.
The rear gantry can also be radio controlled. The towing system is strong enough to tow other boats.
The cockpit is made entirely of mahogany parts. The instrument panel allows the lighting of many elements. All the lamps of the model can be functional with LEDs of 3mm.
The search spotlight is assembled with ready-made parts, it is fully articulated. The reflector and LED are carefully adjusted and produce an exceptionally powerful and accurate beam. The model can be customized by the modeller because there is enough room in the hull for other controlled systems such as a bow thruster, lighting, a sound system or winches.
