"Queen" Yacht by Aero-Naut

Queen is a semi-model wooden boat from the 60s. During this period, sports boats were always built of mahogany to last, so it is with Queen by Aero-Naut.

Aero-Naut used the proven hull design of two other of their models, the sports boat "Classic" and the "Diva", but with a larger size and a new superstructure. The side panels of the superstructure are permanently glued to the hull to provide effective protection against splashes. Access to the interior is from above the cabin by removing the entire interior of the cabin from one room.

This model is an all-wood model, based on a hardwood structure, which is a necessity for simple and fast construction. All wooden parts are largely prefabricated and are ready to be glued after a blank assembly. The assembly method is basic, identical to that used for the "Classic" and the "Diva" : the hull is assembled on a cut-out depron assembly frame in which the frame are inserted. The installation of the keel and the two front and rear reinforcements completes the assembly of the structure.

The electric motors of the Race/Speed 600 or 700 series are an ideal engine for the model.

The kit contains all the wooden parts necessary for mounting, as well as the accessories and the propeller shaft.
