AMO infrared receiver
Manufactured by Servonaut
Infrared receiver for wireless remote control of a trailer in conjunction with AIR4, AIRU, LA6 and LA10 transmitters from Servonaut.
The AMO module can be used universally to transmit connection and servo signals wirelessly via an infrared signal. Especially for truck modelling, it enables trailer and semi-trailer lights to be controlled in the same way as real vehicles. Its special feature is the 4 servo outputs, which enable you to control, for example, a fifth wheel servo, a servo for the landing gear and additional functions.
The AMO module can be used with a variety of Servonaut infrared transmitters. When using the Servonaut K15/30/60 and M20T/M20 systems in the towing vehicle, it requires an AIR4 IR transmitter (max. 4 servo functions), while for Servonaut E20/T20/M212/M220 systems without an integrated lighting circuit, or in combination with other systems (e.g. MFC-01 and MFC-03 Tamiya), the AIRU transmitter must be used.
The module is fully compatible with its predecessor model AET, enabling mixed use of old and new systems.
The trailer must be fitted with its own battery, and optionally with a kingpin suitable for infrared installation (see "accessories" tab below).
Caution: LED installation requires the use of resistors!

Road-Train" function (simultaneous control of several trailers)
By disconnecting the "ROAD" jumper on the AMO module of an intermediate trailer, you can connect an additional AIR4 IR transmitter to the AMO's "S3/SP7" output. In this way, the connection to an additional trailer is obtained, and lighting functions can be transmitted to several trailers following each other!
Tip:
Using the 2x4-way switch CTI ref: ACCTIWAHLSCHAL4, you can split the proportional outputs "Servo 5" and "Servo 6" to increase the number of functions on the trailer. Switching is performed via the AMO's "SF6" terminal.
